BEINTHEWORK (BERLIN INTERNATIONAL THEATRE WORKSHOPS) begin again in Autumn 2023 – details will follow.

UNDER THE STARRY SKY is a theatre and art project with a group of eleven young creative women (aged from 14 – 22) who are based in Herat and Kabul, Afghanistan. The performance will premiere at English Theatre Berlin on 14, 15, 16 September 2023 with a corresponding art exhibition at Graumaleri. Afghanistan currently has the worst situation for women of any country in the world right now. Women in Afghanistan do not even have rights to be violated. They have lost the ability to learn, graduate, walk or travel alone, fall in love, earn money, ride a bicycle, or even go for a walk in the park. This project is an attempt to bring their voices out of their ‘prison’ and directly to the wider global community.You can donate to our project here: Go Fund Me
