On Sunday 28 September, to celebrate the launch of the Cultural Olympiad, Greenwich Theatre teamed up with East 15 graduate theatre company, subject2change and Rachel Karafistan of COSmino Theatre to present a unique, free, outdoor show at the beautiful Well Hall Pleasaunce in Eltham.
\nWell Hall Pleasaunce has a rich and diverse cultural history dating back to Tudor England. Over the years it has been home to the daughter of Thomas More, author of Utopia, and later to Edith Nesbit, author of The Railway Children. Inspired by the magic of Nesbit’s children’s fiction, and More’s attempt to describe a perfect society, this unique family show took it\u2019s audience on a magical journey into new and unfamiliar worlds, unlocking the rich cultural heritage of the site through an unforgettable sensory spectacle.<\/p>\n

\nI loved the play and it was like a movie because it wasn’t just in one place, it moved around the garden. What I loved the most was the music, the magpies played. I loved everything. I had a fantastic time.
